CfMR members awarded two grants

The CfMR is happy to announce that two of its steering members have been awarded two grants:

Firstly, the BBSRC (Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council) is funding Michael Duchen, Gyorgy Szabadkai and Angus Bain for the development of novel approaches in the study of redox metabolism.

Secondly, the Michael J. Fox foundation will be funding Michael Duchen in the research for potential targets in the autophagic lysosomal pathway with hopes of mitigating mitochondrial dysfunction in Parkinson’s disease.
